Yeter Machine manufactures high-capacity ammunition assembly machines. These machines assemble all small-arms calibers thanks to their convertible properties. Moreover, being designed for production of military ammunition, these ammunition machines are equipped with quality check functions in order to eliminate imperfections on the ammunition components that could lead to a misfiring. Therefore, the machines automatically perform a primer inspection, cartridge case inspection, gunpowder level inspection, and loaded cartridge inspection. Thanks to their automatic quality check functions the cartridges are left with only inspecting the surface imperfections. The surface inspection of ammunition can be easily done on Yeter Machine’s manual inspection machines. Yeter Machine also manufactures high-capacity ammunition packaging machines. So, ammunition manufacturers can source these ammunition assembly machines individually or as a complete ammunition assembly line.
The functions and advantages of these ammunition assembly machines are not limited with their multi-caliber properties, high capacity and the quality assurance features. They are designed and built following the ATEX Directive so they are certified Ex-proof. Especially the primer inserting machine and the ammo loading machine are built with extra safety functions since they are in direct contact with explosives. Not only the machines themselves but also the installations are done following the ATEX Directive. Such as anti-static properties of primer feeding area, using the right material on the gunpowder feeding equipment and locating the control cabinets accordingly are all part of an Ex-proof certified system. Furthermore, these machines are rotary-type, electro-mechanic systems that are structured on camshafts so they are easy to operate and maintain. They are designed for a minimum level of physical human interaction with the machine. They are operated through HMI touch screens by operators.
Any group of small-arms calibers can be gathered to assemble on these machines. Yeter Machine has been manufacturing ammunition assembly machines for years. We have produced conversion tool kits for several calibers such as 9x18mm Makarov, 9x19mm Luger, 5.56x45mm NATO, 7.62x51mm NATO, 7.62x39 SOVIET, 7.62x54mm RIMMED, and Blank cartridges for rifles and pistols. Nevertheless, these ammunition assembly machines are capable of assembling brass, steel or polymer case cartridges also. The changeover of conversion tool kits is fairly easy and each machine can be converted to the next caliber with in hours.
The sealing machine is also a rotary-type, high-capacity machine that applies an asphaltic sealing compound around the primer and inside wall of the cartridge case neck for a stronger bond of the bullet. When all three ammunition assembly machines (priming, sealing and loading) combined manufacturers can produce ammunition continuously with 200 parts per minute net throughput. With a basic calculation this combination assembles 20-23 million cartridges per year based on one shift per day and 240 days a year. Our ammunition assembly machines have been working in our current customer’s factory for years based on 3 shifts a day without any issues so with this combination manufacturers can reach 80-90 million cartridges a year if they choose to operate these machines 3 shifts a day and 6 days a week al year around. These machines can assemble pistol and rifle calibers and the net throughput does not vary from caliber to caliber.
